Introduction to Kayaking March 4, 2010

Learn the skills needed to paddle any type of kayak on flat water! UNM Continuing Education is offering an Introduction to Kayaking class (2 sessions) starting Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 6:30-8:30pm. Class covers sit on tops, recreational, touring, whitewater and inflatable kayaks. Upon completion of this course, you should know the basic differences between kayaks and gear, how to properly enter and exit the kayak from shore and deep water, and how to move the kayak effortlessly in any direction.
