Introduction to Burlesque Workshop September 13, 2009

Are you curious about the art of tease? Wanna make your public life a little more glamorous or your private life a little more exciting? Join NYC Burlesque Performer, RunAround Sue in this special two-hour session. In this workshop, students will learn the basic moves and attitudes needed to turn a simple dance into an intoxicating experience. No dance experience required. Women only.


Instructor RunAround Sue has been a professional burlesque dancer working in the vibrant NYC burlesque scene since 2006. In addition to founding her own production company, Sugar Shack Burlesque, she has had the pleasure of introducing burlesque to Montuak and Bermuda and currently produces in five cities a month. As a performer, Miss Sue has had the pleasure of performing in the NY Burlesque Festival, Ars Nova, the Living Theatre, Galapagos Art Space, The Palace of Wonders and several venues on the West Coast. She looks forward to bringing the cheeky art of burlesque to the lovely ladies of Richmond.
