Fri. Feb 27 7:00-9:00PM

A two thousand year-old guide to waking up, living simply, being at ease and acting with purpose. Teachings on how to cultivate a clear mind and a compassionate heart.

Taught by Ven. Dhammadinna and Tenzin Jesse, this weekend workshop offers an experience of the meditations and insights of Buddhism. We will emphasize how to make choices and prioritize what is most important to us amidst an overwhelming flood of possibilities.

We will deepen our ability to work with painful emotions and moods, enhancing optimism, patience and even-mindedness in the face of habitual tendencies toward frustration and dissatisfaction.

This series is the first part of a year long introduction to Dharma that covers all of the basic teachings of Buddhism. It can be taken by itself as a general introduction or students can continue with the next set of classes that will follow on Wednesdays.
