On Friday, January 27th Bay Area music lovers are encouraged to wear their dancing shoes and get ready for an all out immersion into African Funk music at Shattack Down low featuring Sila and the Afrofunk Experience.

Sila and the Afrofunk Experience are notoriously know for thier high energy, good vibes, dance-infused grooves that keep music lovers swaying way past closing time! On the bill will be DJ Jeremiah from Liberia spinning Afrobeat, Soukous, Zouk, highlife and other international beats.

Kenyan expatriate Victor Sila is a man on a mission: to have a seriously funky good time. The founder of a style he calls Afro-funk, he has also named his band the Afro-Funk Experience, which is basically what will happen to you.
