Celebrate the achievements of women past, present and future, at the International Women’s Day Carnival, organised by People’s Association Women’s Integration Network (WIN) Council.

Themed Go Green, this year’s carnival aims to raise awareness amongst women about the importance of doing their part for the environment.

Don’t miss the exciting booths by National Environmental Agency (NEA) that challenge participants to learn environmentally-positive habits through fun and interactive games.

Shopaholics will appreciate the array of kiosks offering innovative accessories made from recycled items, and precious second-hand finds.

The various kiosks will present them with opportunities to shop for a good cause, as proceeds from the sale of items will go towards raising funds for women’s causes.

Feast your eyes on the innovative creations of the winners of the Trash to Fashion contest, which challenges participants to create wearable clothing or fashion items for women using recycled materials. Be one of the first to witness as the first-prize winners of the Trash to Wearable Clothing and Trash to Fashion Items categories walk away with SGD$1000 and SGD$500 cash respectively.

Last but not least, join in the excitement as women from People’s Association’s 104 Women’s Executive Committees (WECs) across Singapore come together to build the largest collage in Singapore made up of recycled paper flowers, in their attempt to set a Singapore Record!

Rally your girlfriends and family and come on down for this unique day of celebration by women, for women.
