Rangeland science has a grand tradition in
western North America. The diverse
and complex field of range management
runs the gamut from
grassland ecology and physiology
to livestock behaviour
and nutrition, to hydrology,
and all the way to rangeland
economics.

The International Society
for Range Management
(SRM) is the acknowledged
world leader in range science
organizations, and Vancouver is
fortunate to be hosting its 59th Annual
Meeting, February 12?17, 2005.
Along with plenary and concurrent technical
sessions, the SRM Conference is also the venue
for a host of allied workshops, technical symposia,
and business meetings?all of which are open to
the public.
