The evening begins with a Belly Dance Lesson by Sahara Dance. Learn basic movements including shimmies, isolations, undulations and traveling steps. The presentation include a brief introduction to the cultural context and philosophy of belly dance.

Sahara Dance, Washington DC's Center for Middle Eastern Dance, is a boutique dance studio dedicated to celebrating the joy and beauty of belly dance.
