International Expert in Stem Cell Therapy to Speak in Danville November 8, 2011

Catholics@Work is pleased to announce Theresa Deisher, PhD., CEO of AVM Biotechnology and President of Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute (SCPI), will be the featured speaker at its breakfast event, November 8, 2011. Dr. Deisher is an internationally renowned expert in the field of adult stem cell therapies and regenerative medicine, and is a frequent guest on EWTN addressing issues that are polarizing our nation: the safety of vaccinations, the true promise of stem cell research, and the conscience rights of healthcare professionals.

Dr. Deisher's discoveries, particularly in the fields of cardiovascular biology and stem cell research, continue to be considered some of the most significant in the scientific community, including her initial discovery and identification of adult heart stem cells.
