The Arts Council of Fairfax County presents the 39th annual International Children's Festival at Wolf Trap on Sept 19 and 20, 2009; from 10am to 4pm.

The Festival's unique interactive arts environment provides children with a fun, dynamic, and accessible way to discover and learn about diverse art forms and cultures. It's a family-friendly event involving interactive performances and crafts for children and adults of all ages.

The Festival promotes cultural understanding and exchange by providing opportunities for audience members and area supporters , including Northern Virginia corporate and community leaders, to interact with the international and local artists and performers. The ICF is the premiere international arts education experience in the United States.

Since 1971, the Festival has brought hundreds of thousands of area children and their families to Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts to experience new cultures and learn about the significance of the arts in our lives, our community, and throughout the world.
