This class is a successor to the Digital Photography Fundamentals Class. In this class you will practice what you learned so those techniques become ‘intuitive”, providing you more opportunity to focus on the very important creative aspects of photography. Each week you will be given an assignment to complete and we’ll review those results the following week. Please note that participants must have a good working understanding of their camera and of the fundamentals taught in the ‘Fundamentals’ class.

The instructor is Fred Drury, and experienced nature photographer who teaches photography-related classes at COD and at The Morton Arboretum. His photographs have won national and international awards and more than thirty of his images are on permanent display as a part of the Shedd Aquarium’s Wild Reef exhibit.
