Featuring: Elizabeth Star Bilyck, Drea Brown, Richard Kevin Cartwright IV, Mai Doan, Victoria Gannon, Betty Johnson, Carolyn Kameya, Kenji Liu, Carrie Leilam Love, Karim Scarlata, Vidhu Singh, and Colette Winlock, with special readings by Truong Tran and Jewelle Gomez.

A unique literary workshop for emerging writers, offered by Kearny Street Workshop & Intersection for the Arts—two of SF’s oldest interdisciplinary arts organizations—the IWL thoroughly explores and develops participants’ writing skills and styles. Twelve students participated in the 8-week workshop led by accomplished writers and artists Jewelle Gomez and Truong Tran. Join us as these emerging literary voices share their newly developed work.
