Levitt Pavilion MacArthur Park caps off its 6th Annual 50 Free Summer Concerts Series on September 9, 2012 by teaming up with The Interdependence Movement to bring Interdependence Day 2012 to the MacArthur Park Pavilion. The festivities include a symposium featuring local youth musicians, multicultural performers, inspirational speakers, and public figures.

Interdependence Day is an international celebration of citizens without borders, civic governance among cities, global justice and democracy. The celebrations take place simultaneously across numerous cities around the world including London, Berlin, Singapore, and Melbourne. The main events this year are concentrated in Los Angeles, and the Levitt Pavilion at MacArthur Park will occupy a central role among the proceedings.
