Interaction Design (iXda) December N+AS Party December 9, 2009

We have a fun evening planned for our December Networking and App. Sharing event. gravitytank, an growth strategy firm, recently conducted 20 ethnographies, surveyed 1,000 people, and interviewed app developers about mobile apps. The results from the study, called "Apps Get Real," show the different ways in which apps are changing the way people spend their time, organize their lives, and interact with brands. We'll talk a bit about how they're starting to revolutionize "serious" industries - like healthcare - as well.

We will follow with a 'Best Of' review of iphone apps. curated by 'YOU' the design community. We will randomly select several apps. to share with the group so bring your phone and be ready to share an app. you find particularly inspiring.

We will end the night Bumping (use the free Bump iphone app. to physically connect with one another to share contact info.) Come meet your fellow designers to learn, eat, drink and connect!
