Inspiration: Moods of Nature - Paintings by Bhawana Choudhary Chandra (Bhopal). She draw her inspiration from little walks of life. Many a times which go unnoticed? When was last time you noticed stopover in life when a sudden breeze transformed itself into raindrops, Aroma of dry thirsty soil soaking these greedily. Birds rushing to their nests with their loved ones, small children coming back from school trying to cope with their little umbrellas being swept away, and a lukewarm sunshine that follows. Slowly the life takes on its pace again. Various colours come on the horizon every dusk and dawn. A few days later a lush green engulfs the scene. Bhawana Choudhary Chandra, Bhopal : Born: 20 Aug 1972. Education:Post Graduate in Drawing & Painting, Govt. Girls College ( Nutan College ), Bhopal. She has done 10 solo exhibitions till date. She has participated in several Workshops, Camps and Group Exhibitions in India and her works are in collection of many individuals, Art Galleries and Corporate in India and Abroad. She has also got a fellowship for painting for 2 years by Govt. of India, Ministry of Tourism and Culture for the Year 2000 - 02. Bhawanas' paintings are the result of her deep involvement with the canvas. The technique and handling of paint is different. Her large Oils and Acrylic works show remarkable use of whites and blacks. The fine delicate forms and blending of bright colours produce a very soft feeling in the white canvases. He canvases often shows her feelings for the joy and sorrow of life. These paintings reflect thoughtful mood. Total 30 works will be on display. Her works are figurative and abstract too. Medium is acrylic on canvas. Painting sizes are from 10 x 10 inches to 36 x 48 inches.
