Larry Weinstein ("Beethoven's Hair") recreates the uniquely personal story of a brother and sister, with only one surviving the Holocaust.

The mystery began when educator Fumiko Ishioka at the Tokyo Holocaust Museum received a battered suitcase from the Auschwitz Museum with Hana Brady's name, birthday and "waisenkind" (orphan) painted on it. The ensuing quest by the determined Fumiko and her students to learn the details of Hana's short life led to the discovery that her older brother George had survived Thereisenstadt and was living in Toronto.

Special Event: Meet the film director, Larry Weinstein, who will answer questions about the search for Hana and this special movie. Following the question/answer, there will be a wine and cheese reception so audience members can meet this internationally acclaimed film director, one-on-one.
