Detroit's Insane Clown Posse pioneered their shocking metal-rap combo in the late 90's, donning makeup and and a hardcore live stage act, in the footsteps of GWAR and Green Jelly. The duo have issued over ten recordings. Sub Noize Souljaz combines a rotating cast of members of various Suburban Noize Records artists including the Kottonmouth Kings, Big B, Judge D, Saint Dog, Big Hoss, and OPM's Johnny Necro, with new recruits Dirtball, Just Cause, and Chucky Styles.
