Contrary to what some might assume, Ingram Hill is not of the name of a solo artist but rather, a band; no one in Ingram Hill is actually named Ingram Hill (just like there was never a musician named Lynard Skynard or Jethro Tull - at least not in either of those well-known '70s bands). Like Cracker, Train, and Tonic, Ingram Hill has an earthy, unpretentious approach that is relevant to both alternative pop/rock and roots rock. The Memphis-based foursome aren't an exact replica of classic rockers from the '60s and '70s - their work is more modern - but they do have a certain down-home rootsiness that has gone over well in Southern rock circles.

Their first release came in 2002, when they put out their debut EP, Until Now, on their own label, Traveler Records, and sold around 10,000 copies. Then, in 2003, the Memphis residents released their first full-length album, June's Picture Show, produced by Rick Beato, on Traveler. June's Picture Show had only been out a few weeks when Ingram Hill signed with Hollywood Records.

The OK Corral began in the summer of 2007 as high school friends Brett Nickley and Mike Matthews finished their freshman year of college. The pair went to concerts together around the DC area and realized they wanted to give the band thing a legitimate shot before school flew by and the real world swallowed them whole. The OK Corral originated as an acoustic duo, and Brett and Mike spent the summer writing 5 originals, and following a plethora of makeshift and legitimate shows, these 5 original songs later became an EP in January 2008. While the duo was eager to play their music to anyone who was willing to listen, they also desired to form a full band. After getting their EP done, various musicians temporarily got involved; practicing, playing shows, but ultimately, not fitting into the bigger picture the two had envisioned.

The band has gained some national attention as they have been featured as a band of the week in AbsolutePunk.net's self-promotion spotlight drawing comparisons with the likes of Manchester Orchestra, The Format, and Steven Kellogg and the Sixers. The OK Corral is currently looking to bring their music to your ears. With their catchy hooks, mature songwriting, and their outright eagerness to simply have a good time with everyone who is a part of their live music experience, they hope to be playing in a city near you in the near future!
