Ingersoll Oratory Contest October 24, 2010

Contestants will each deliver a brief excerpt from Robert G. Ingersoll's works. Known as The Great Agnostic, he was a famous 19th century orator and outspoken critic of religion. A panel of judges will evaluate and award prizes for the best performance. Please bring a blanket or chair and cheer on your favorite contestant. The event will be held at Dupont Circle, 19th & P St. Northwest. Contestants are sought and may register up to Oct. 17.
