Informal Creative Design/Web Meetup July 2, 2010

Just a chance for the freelance(ish) creative types (design and web folk especially) knocking around Brum to grab a coffee or beer together on a Friday evening.

Completely, totally, informal - feel free to just rock up after work. If you like, bring some recent work/laptop and get some feedback, or just come to meet other people doing the same thing in Birmingham.

How this came about:

My name is Andy (http://higgsdesign.com) and I ran into Matt (http://twelve20.co.uk) at a recent event. We got chatting about freelance(ish) creatives working in web/graphic locally. Although we both did similar work in a similar area, our paths had never crossed until then. We thought it would be good to meet some more design folk who we'd never met before.

This meet up isn't planned to be a regular thing, just a chance to swap business cards, put names to faces and maybe create some connections that help collaborations in the future.
