Indy Fringe featured at Vevay’s Second Saturday

Mini acts of magic, dance, comedy and will fill the stage during Vevay Main Street’s, Shows of Second Saturday. The event will take place Sat. July 12 at 7:00 pm at the Historic Hoosier Theater.

A senior at Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Alison Vodnoy has performed her one-woman show in the last two Cincy Fringe festivals, and is scheduled for both IndyFringe and Minnesota Fringe later this summer. Portraying Akiva, Vodnoy recounts her exploits dating first from her character’s perspective, and then transporting herself into each man and describing their point of view.

Jared Sherlock challenges his audience to “let go of reality and submerse themselves into the magic” as he conjures up elaborate and surreal dreams. His illusions are unique, inspired through storytelling, interpretive dance, comedy and life experiences.

Enjoy the eccentric humor of Lanky Wood Productions and the improv comedy of IndyProv.

Advance tickets are available at the Switzerland County Visitors Center, located at 128 West Main Street in downtown Vevay. The price is $10 for adults and $7 for kids.
