Indo-American Arts Council Presents "Draupadi - Will My Spirit Live On?" March 16, 2011

In honor of International Womens’ Month the Indo-American Arts Council presents "Draupadi-Will My Spirit Live On?" It addresses the roles and struggles of women throughout the ages and across cultures by interweaving text from the traditional Indian epic myth, The Mahabharata, with contemporary challenges. The Shivani Wazir Pasrich production is an English play first produced in India, here making its North American debut.
