Together, Two most renowned drummers from India and Germany will create "Infinite Rhythms" while Delhi based Audio-video collective B.L.O.T. (Basic Love of Things) will visually transform the performance space.

On Friday, September 23, Inauguration of the "Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities", the celebratory 15 month programme series of the Year of Germany in India, will be inaugurated by an Opening Concert at the Nehru Park. Almost two years of preparation bears fruit with a thunderous start: Star percussionist Sivamani (one of India’s best drummers) will come down from Mumbai to meet Germany's premier solo percussionist Christoph Haberer also known as the “Drümmele Maa” or the drumming man from Dortmund.
This event is being carried out to celebrate and strengthen the completion of 60 years of Indo-German diplomatic relations, for which a fifteen-month collaborative celebration titled “Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities” will be held in India from September 2011 to November 2012.
