In the Mix: Global Dance Groove May 7, 2010

DANCE on the edge of musical exploration with Bombgoddess, a sonic shamaness and dance floor ritualist weaving a wicked blend of electro-tribal grooves, melodic dubhop, and chunky beats with a penchant for the cosmic sprinkled with a heavy dose of goddess juju spark and sass. Maze Daiko members Janet Koike and Tina Blaine add bursts of Japanese Taiko to the evening’s kinetic spice. Alisha Blau weaves a magical warmup journey from 7-8 pm.
