This is a walk with good views, classic geology and the chance to visit some the old hunting grounds of the young King Henry V. Your journey will take you from Wigpool where Romans mined for iron ore, then over the famous geological feature, the Hope Mansell Dome, down to the riverside woods frequented by Henry. You will return via Ruardean with its magnificient views and on the way discover the grisly true story of who killed the bears before finishing back at Wigpool.
