In-the-Brain of Mark Proctor: JBoss Rules July 11, 2007

JBoss Rules is the production release of the Drools project. Drools is an expert system for declarative programming based around the Rete algorithm. Drools 4.0 extends traditional Rete systems with support for powerful Conditional Elements such as 'accumulate', 'collect' and 'from' as well as, Rule Flow for execution flow control. Drools 4.0 also introduces the new web based Business Rules Management System. During this talk Mark Proctor, lead on JBoss Rules will cover the Drools basics, as well as, the new features in 4.0 and how they aid declarative programming.
