The Ruby Versions host (ruby-versions.net) offers command-line access to Ruby versions dating back to 1.0, as well as modern Ruby interpreters like JRuby, Rubinius, and Ruby Enterprise Edition. In this talk I'll give a guided tour of the site, and show you some examples of how you can learn about Ruby history, and the evolution of the language, from comparing versions, and how you can use the site to try out your code in different Ruby interpreters. Interested Ruby developers can apply for a free shell account.
