In Real Time September 21, 2009

In Real Time will feature music improvised by Steve Schenkel, guitar Paul DeMarinis, sax and Nick Schlueter, piano. Some of the music will include loops triggered on a MacBook Pro. Most of the pieces will be freely improvised by the players on the spot. The concept for the program came from Schenkel's summer spent immersed in the music of Paul Bley and the recordings of the Paul Motian Trio.
