On Friday August 1, 2008 a special outdoor event for Ramoniacs will be held in loving memory of Legendary Ramones Guitarist JOHNNY RAMONE. Be at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery (6000 Santa Monica Blvd. Los Angeles, CA) for a rare opportunity to MEET 3 of the RAMONES LIVE & IN-PERSON.

That’s right commandos assemble because Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Ramones drummer of 15 Years MARKY RAMONE (“Road to Ruin”, “End of the Century” & more), PLUS: Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Producer and Ramones drummer TOMMY RAMONE (“Leave Home”, “Rocket to Russia” & more) AND Bassist CJ RAMONE (“Loco Live”, “Adios Amigos” & more) will ALL be on hand to celebrate Johnny’s legacy with an assortment of Pinheads and Ramoniacs…like you!

There’ll be autograph signings too so don’t forget to bring your Ramones LPs, CDs, singles, DVDs and other rare collectibles and get them personally signed by the 3 living breathing Ramones on hand Aug. 1st in Los Angeles, CA.

Once the sun sets, rare live Ramones concert footage & movie screenings will take place outdoors and under the stars projected 18x24 ft tall on a mausoleum wall as in Hollywood Forever’s summer film screening program Cinespia. Lots more details will be coming soon but for now we can tell you that whether you’re a decorated Johnny Commando or just a casual Ramones fan you will not want to miss this event!

Admission is only a $10 minimum donation to Johnny’s prostate cancer research charity (Cedars-Sinai, lead by Dr. David Agus) and will be collected at the gate on arrival at Hollywood Forever. Indie 103.1 will be on site broadcasting live from the event, so be there and be a part of the LIVE RADIO BROADCAST!
