Improve Job Hunting Networking Skills January 12, 2010

Join us on Tuesday, January 12th at 7:00 pm at the Employment Ministry meeting, St. Mary Immaculate Parish, 15629 South Route 59, in Plainfield. There is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome.

Becky Brillon, of the Naperville Community Career Center, will present “Networking - Getting Started.” She will discuss tips for the elevator speech, how to create a handbill, what to include on business cards, where to find networking sessions, how to use an accountability group, and how to be outgoing when you're an introverted person.

Coaches are always available for one-on-one assistance. That’s how we help “Prepare Job Seekers for Success.” Bring up to 20 copies of your resume and/or handbill to distribute to those you meet.
