Friends!

We're excited to announce that the San Francisco Improv Festival is launching its 2010 season next month, with a special weekend of workshops with James Grace, Artistic Director of the legendary improv theater and training center IO West. James' credits also include work on Super Troopers, Reno 911 and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Focusing on Harold, the longform improv format developed by Del Close, Charna Halpern, IO & The Upright Citizens Brigade, this pair of workshops will combine to present a comprehensive understanding of the groundbreaking format, as well as applied practice and scenework. While the workshop is best enjoyed in full (2 four-hour workshops), each day will also be available individually.

The San Francisco Improv Festival has also continued its commitment to make its productions affordable. Each individual, four-hour workshop is only $50, with the full program discounted at $85. SFIF2010 will also make the workshop available to auditing, non-participating students at the lower rate to be announced later.
