Immigrants' Rights Happy Hour--Anti-Trafficking Fundraiser: hosted by the Immigrants' Rights Coalition of the Washington College of Law at American University (open to the public).

Come by, enjoy drink specials and salsa dancing, have fun and help raise money (suggested donation of $5 per person) for a local organization on the front lines of the fight against human trafficking.

Drink specials: $5 Mojitos, $6 Raspberry Mojitos, $4 Beers
Proceeds will benefit the Victims of Exploitation and Trafficking Assistance program of Boat People, SOS (Falls Church, VA):

The Victims of Exploitation and Trafficking Assistance (VETA) program provides direct services, including legal representation and case management to immigrant victims of human trafficking. The VETA team also conducts outreach to the community, service providers and law enforcement to increase awareness of human trafficking and identification of victims.
