Hot off his national-network television debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedian Steve Hofstetter is making his first appearance in Greensboro. The show kicks off his Immature Tour, which will feature over 30 live dates. The Greensboro Coliseum Complex’s Odeon Theatre will host the tour's opening show, also featuring iTunes sensation Phil Mazo and local comedian Kenny Giard.

"I'm looking forward to the show, Hofstetter said. "I've never been to Greensboro, but I'm a huge UNC fan. Or maybe you guys like Duke. Wake Forest? Whatever, you're barbecue is great."

No stranger to the stage, Steve performs at over 100 college campuses and dozens of comedy clubs nationally. Hofstetter has also appeared on Showtime’s “White Boyz in the Hood,” VH1’s “Countdown,” ESPN’s “Quite Frankly,” and he was the featured comedian on Clay Aiken’s “E! True Hollywood Story.” Steve’s second album, “Cure for the Cable Guy,” cracked the top 20 on Billboard’s comedy charts.

Phil Mazo, whose recent album screamed up the iTunes charts, is also a first timer to Greensboro. Punchline Magazine wrote, “Phil Mazo brings a light-hearted, almost highbrow tone to cringe comedy,” and also featured Phil in its prestigious A Tight Fivevideo interview series, alongside Jim Breuer, and Frank Caliendo. His recent roles in the film High Hopes helped earn it an acceptance into the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, as well as HBO's 2008 New York International Latino Film Festival.

Greensboro’s own Kenny Giard has toured college campuses and comedy clubs and will host both the show and an after party. The ‘Immaturity’ will continue after the show as the performers make an appearance at the Corner Bar and mingle with the fans. The Corner Bar (1700 Spring Garden St.) is a popular UNC-Greensboro hangout.

The show is produced by Greensboro's Push Play Entertainment Inc. and sponsored by The Corner Bar.
