($10 table, $5 bar. Also at 10:30pm). The uninhibited and soulful voice of Imani Uzuri is an endless fountain of creativity. This time around, our favorite anti-diva draws from her wellspring of memories to bring forth Her Holy Water: A Black Girl's Rock Opera, a celebration of the African American experience from a grrrl's perspective that transforms and transcends musical boundaries. Backed by master jazz musicians Marvin Sewell (guitar) and Vijay Iyer (piano), Imani leads a full, ambient band and string quintet, taking us on a journey through drum 'n bass, jazz ballads, and meditative electronica.
