Images Without Borders was formed in light of the earthquake in Haiti. New Orleans-based photographer, Laura Bergerol and Boise-based photographer, Stacy Ericson founded the cause in order to help fund Doctors Without Borders (Medicines sans Frontiers). (After the BP oil spill occurred, the decision was made to change the beneficiary, temporarily, in order to help the Gulf Coast.) With the six-month anniversary of the Haitian earthquake, and with the bleak news reports coming from Haiti, the shift returned to Doctors Without Borders.

On Friday, December 10, 2010, from 4 to 8pm – the group will host an art show at Loa New Orleans in the International House Hotel (221 Camp Street in New Orleans), displaying photographs available for purchase. Prices range from $75 to $500 and all sales benefit Doctors Without Borders.
