IMAGES THEATRE COMPANY (ITC) will open their signature musical, “LEGACY” on February 5, 2010 at the Guild Theater. LEGACY is written by Lisa Lacy with musical composition and direction by Charles Cooper.

“LEGACY” is a historical collection of vignettes, poetry, music, and prose and is presented as an ensemble theater production. Entertaining as well as educational, this production is a family, church, and community favorite. LEGACY invites the audience to journey with the cast from the past to the present, remembering the struggles of African-Americans, and celebrating all of our progress as people and a country. The music is soul stirring and will have audience members standing on their feet and dancing in the aisles. The stories portrayed are heart-warming and will remind all of what a great nation America has become. Regardless to ethnicity, “LEGACY” will excite, educate, entertain, and inspire its audience members, while reminding us that as part of the human race, we must all press forward together in order to keep Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream alive.

“LEGACY” includes written contributions by Michael Guinn, and well known local vocalists and actors such as Bill Miller, Tamiko Greely, Quintina Watts, Yardley Griffin, and others are featured in the show.
