“A hip hop revue with killer dancing” (New York Times), this multi-cultural, male and female dance theater company fuses hip hop with various other styles of dance. Founded in 2002 by Brandon Albright and Forest Webb, the company returns to Dance Place after first appearing in the 2004 Dance Place Hip Hop Festival. Committed to spreading unity, peace, love respect and fun through dance, Illstyle & Peace Productions creates and shares works for diverse audiences. In addition to directing Illstyle & Peace Productions, Albright is assistant artistic director for Rennie Harris Pure Movement, with which both Albright and Webb have toured internationally. Co-presented with Reston Center Stage and the National Performance Network Creation Fund. Supported in part by Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour, a program of Mid Atlantic Arts.
