The Fourth Conference on Innovation Journalism is arranged by the Innovation Journalism program at Stanford, run by SCIL and VINNOVA.
The conference is free of charge. Pre-register on the conference web site.

IJ-4 is a gathering for professionals to discuss the interaction between journalism and innovation, including how innovation is changing the profession and business of journalism, how to cover innovation in the news, and how journalism links innovation with society. Target
participants for the conference include journalists, professionals connected to the media/communications industry, innovation experts, students, and researchers.

Doug Engelbart is known as the father of the concept of the personal computer, and inventor of the computer mouse. He is a proponent of the development and use of computers and networks to build collective intelligence that can solve the world's problems. John Markoff is a senior writer for The New York Times.
