The melted male/female vocals of I, Crime create a new brand of 'romantic rock' that could only come from the rust belt paradise of Detroit, Michigan. Through thoughtful lyrics and melodic songwriting, I,Crime maintains a rock edge reminiscent of late '70's L.A. Punk influences Wire and X, while sweet boy/girl harmonies have earned comparisons to the smooth psychedelia of The Raveonettes.

Known for their gorgeous mess of country-tinged harmonies and shouted, Velvet Underground-inspired rocking, the sounds of I, Crime are a sweet-and- sour stew of garage guitars and pop vocals...Their combination of bleeding hearts, fem-rock sensibility and just enough catchiness to keep you itching for the next live show.

With two guitars, drums, a bass and a screaming banshee of a lead singer, they are known in the south for delivering punk-inundated, fast-tempo, grab-your-beer-and-go party anthems, along with catchy, distinctive hooks suited for everyones inner punk.
