Welcome the Holidays at The Fairmont San Francisco with Inniskillin Winery. Fairmont San Francisco has a new month-long feature, "Icewine Wonderland," presented in the hotel's Laurel Court Restaurant & Bar beginning Friday, November 25th through January 1, 2012. Pastry Chef Stephen Sullivan will debut the Jivara Chocolate Millefeuille dessert; a toasted hazelnut dacquoise with cranberries, natural-essence milk chocolate chantilly and roasted cranberry sorbet ($12/plate) artfully paired with Inniskillin Vidal Icewine ($18/glass). Inniskillin Icewine will be served in Riedel Icewine glassware, part of the Riedel Vinum Extreme design series; the Icewine glass was a collaboration between George Riedel and Inniskillin winery and released in 2000. These food and wine pros gather together for an opportunity to sample sweet and savory dishes that pair beautifully with Inniskillin's liquid gold, dessert wine, from Canada's Niagara Peninsula wine region.
