I Love Recycling Day! November 15, 2011

We will have an expose of all things recyclable at our store including an info station about our compostable "paper goods" that we use in the cafe, a decomposition timeline so kids can place objects on the timeline and discover how long it takes to decompose, and games, all to reinforce the importance of recycling. We will also showcase the numerous initiatives that Whole Foods Market has internally to "walk the talk" including our cardboard made into fireplace logs demo, plastic recycling, and food waste made into compost demo!
