Patchogue's own Hydroyum is a red hot quintet of drums, bass, rhythm and lead guitars and trumpet. They perform a unique mixture of original material and covers, drawing influences from funk, rock, bebop, afro beat and R&B. For the 2007-2008 season, 'Live in the Lobby' shows begin with a 30-minute "Songwriter Spotlight" featuring acoustic performances by two or three local songwriters, followed by the featured performers playing until about 10 PM.
