Sutton Road, Huttoft
Alford, England LN13 9RG

The Huttoft Day of Folk is organised by the Heritage Trust of Lincolnshire on behalf of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.
It is a celebration of the Lincolnshire Grazing Marshes, the former marshland between the North Sea and the Wolds. It will feature traditional and new songs from Lincolnshire and the Marshes in particular. There will be concerts by John Conolly, internationally famous singer songwriter from North Lincolnshire on the Seaside and the former North Sea fishing industry.
Workshops will be held in the adjacent Chapel on playing slide guitar, playing guitar in alternative tunings, songwriting and sea shanties.
Traditional Dancing will be by Bishop's Morris from Lincoln and Spalding's Slapdash Appalachian Clog dancers, performing outside the village hall and at Huttoft Donkey Sanctuary.
Everything is free and the organisers welcome people to bring an instrument or a voice and have a go or just learn about their folk heritage.
