The popular New Shoes Theatre production returns to Tunbridge Wells on International Women's Day. The powerful text was written by Italy's foremost playwright and advocate of women's rights, Dacia Maraini. The performance is followed by a panel discussion and Q&A about violence against women and girls. The UK production is produced in association with Dacia Maraini's International project to raise awareness about violence against women and girls. Her play Hurried Steps is currently performed in many different languages world-wide. 'It's BEAUTIFUL work...' Blanche Marvin. Tickets are free and can be reserved through the Box Office.
