Dino Day Lecture: "Hunting Dinosaurs on Four Continents" with Dr. Philip Currie. Dinosaurs are arguably the most successful large terrestrial animals to live on Earth. They dominated the landscape for over 130 million years and continue to be successful through their direct descendants, birds. In the second annual Burke Museum Dino Day lecture at UW's Kane Hall, Dr. Philip Currie will discuss his travels uncovering dinosaur fossils from the four corners of the globe in order to learn how these amazingly diverse animals were so successful for so long. This lecture is free but pre-registration is required. Register online at the website or call 206-543-5590.
