Hunt for the cure August 28, 2009

Monticello House Alzheimer's Living will host a unique scavenger hunt fundraiser "Hunt for the Cure" on Friday, Aug. 28 at the Anderson Town Center Park in downtown Anderson from 4 to 8 p.m. Teams for the scavenger hunt must consist of two to four players. Teams will have two hours to complete the hunt. Each player is required to raise $25 in donations. The scavenger hunt will begin at 5 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage. Entertainment will be provided by Mud Eye Joe. There will also be face painting, balloons and food for the whole family. All proceeds from this event will benefit Community Hospital Anderson's Alzheimer's support group Memory Walk team.
