In this final concert of Amici Chamber Ensemble’s 20th anniversary season New York pianist Orli Shaham will join Amici to present a portrait of the quintessential Hungarian music steeped in traditional rhythms from the countryside and folk melodies.
Program includes works by three Hungarian masters:
Béla Bartók Contrasts for violin, clarinet and piano
Zoltan Kodaly Duo for violin and cello
E von Dohnányi Quintet for C minor op. 7 for piano and strings
