Human Resources Management: An Overview September 27, 2011

Provides a comprehensive review of the history, development and charter of the Human Resource function. Through lectures, discussions and workshops, the participant will learn the basic elements of the personnel process, including recruiting and selection, compensation and benefits, performance appraisal, employee and labor relations, discipline and counseling, and legal aspects. This is a survey course appropriate for personnel specialists, assistants, line managers, supervisors, and those wishing to learn more about human resource management.
