HUGE GARAGE SALE - Support Fr. Philip Mbeta in Malawi June 11, 2010

One of the Southwest suburb’s biggest Garage Sales of the year will be open from 8:30am to 3:00pm on June 11 & 12 in the St. Mary Immaculate Parish Gym, located at 15629 South Rt. 59 in Plainfield.

Parishioners have packed the Gym with a huge quantity of gently used clothing, baby items, books, toys and games, sporting goods, household décor items, small appliances, electronics, tools etc. Everything is for sale at FANTASTIC prices.

Proceeds will help support the work of Fr. Philip Mbeta, pastor of Phalombe parish in Malawi, Africa, His parish totals 50,000 Catholics. His parish and his home village of Likwakwanda are located in one of the poorest areas of Malawi, considered the 4th poorest country in the world.
