HUCKLEBERRY YOUTH PROGRAMS and Co-Sponsor the MARIN WOMEN'S COMMISSION present a special screening of MISS REPRESENTATION
Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011 at 7 pm
Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael

Written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Miss Representation premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. The film exposes how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America. It aims to challenge the media's limited and often disparaging portrayals of women and girls, which make it difficult for women to achieve leadership positions and for the average woman to feel powerful herself.

General Admission tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. All proceeds benefit Huckleberry Youth Programs
