Prescott, Arizona 86303

New vocal sensation, Renee Patrick, takes the stage at the final summer series jazz concert at Highlands Center for Natural History, 1375 S. Walker Rd (on the way to Lynx Lake). Mike Vax, Prescott Jazz Summit director, will accompany Renee on trumpet; Tony Vacca on saxophone, Stan Sorenson on guitar and Ted Sistrunk on bass.

Renee was born in Philadelphia, where music was a way of life. Her father was a member of the world-renowned Ink Spots and her mother is somewhat of a local legend at Detroit's Motown Studios, having recorded alongside greats such as Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye. It is safe to say that music runs in her family.

Renee Patrick is a Phoenix-based pop/gospel/jazz artist driven by true passion and love of music. Her music is shockingly honest and emotionally charged. Listeners find her sound somehow familiar, but one that is refreshingly original and inviting. A powerful voice combined with a passionate delivery, her music captures the listener and doesn’t let go.

Ticket price is $15 and can be ordered in advance at http://prescottjazz.com/ticket-detail.php?id=103 or purchased at the door (check or cash), but be forewarned – the first two summer concerts were sold out and people were turned away.
